Oatmeal Lace Cookies

This is a family favorite and required for every gathering. While these cookies aren't ideal for a bake sale due to their delicate nature, they are a wonderful way to end any meal. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.

Steps

1	Mix oatmeal, sugar and butter.
3	Combine baking powder, salt and flour.
4	Beat eggs and add vanilla.
5	Take a 1/2 teaspoon of dough and drop on a cookie sheet covered in foil. The foil is really, really important! Leave 2 to 3 inches between each drop of dough. There should be about 1 dozen cookies per sheet.
6	Bake in a 350 degree oven for 7 to 8 minutes, or until golden brown.
7	Remove the foil sheet with the cookies on it from the cookie sheet and lay on a flat surface. Let the foil and cookies cool for about 5 minutes. The cookies will harden as they cool. Gently peel cooled cookies from foil and place in a container.
